HERB INFUSED SALMON
HERB INFUSED SALMON (KETO/PESCATARIAN/PALEO)
BENEFITS :: Omega 3's from wild salmon can lower cellular inflammation and promote healthy HDL levels to fight cardio-vascular disease, parsley, mint and coriander greens don't just slather flavour onto this beauty but load it with liver healing benefits, zucchini is a master at combating depression and anxiety due to its rich nutrient profile, it is loaded with Potassium (relaxer), Vitamin C (anti-oxidant) and B Vitamins (improve cognitive capacity and adrenal function).
Clean 4 ounce Wild Salmon, add 1 tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil), 1 tbsp ACV (raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar or white vinegar to improve insulin sensitivity)
Add dried parsley, 1/2 tsp chilli powder/pepper, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric powder, choice of mixed spices (1 tsp cumin powder or store brought mix), 3 cloves crushed garlic, 1 full lemon and massage ingredients onto the salmon. Leave mixture for 30-minutes to 4 hours (Refrigerate).
Pre-heat oven to 350 F, Grease oven pan with EV Olive oil/EV coconut oil, load the salmon, bake for 30 minutes (turning side at 15 minutes).
Serve with choice of sides or grilled/baked vegetables.
***To cook on the skillet, grease skillet with oil and cook on medium-high, place salmon, close the lid for 10 minutes, add 1-2tbspwater if needed, turn over and cook another 7 minutes, garnish with cilantro and mint
