CHOCOLATE PRO-FAT BLISS AUTUM LEAVES :: SUPERFOOD SNACK

Benefits :: These chocolate bliss bites make a great 4 pm snack or a quick post meal dessert, the healthy saturated fat from coconut oil are great for your gut, skin, joints and do not spike unwanted blood sugar, raw cacao is a rich source of magnesium (relaxer), protein from nuts and seeds make it a perfect fat burning food, the fibre from nuts feeds the gut microbiota (Microbiome :: where 80% of serotonin is made).

KETO/LOW CARB/PALEO/CANDIDA FRIENDLY/VEGAN/VEGETARIAN

 

1/4 cup walnuts/pecans

1/4 cup almonds (if you have gastric distress (bloating, leaky gut, IBS) soak your nuts, peel and use)

2 tbsp pumpkin seeds or hemp hearts 

2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil

2 tbsp raw organic cacao powder (VIVA foods on amazon)

Optional :: 2 tsp date sugar or maple syrup

***(I avoid using, only drizzle less than 1 tsp sugar (5 grams) over the pre-formed bliss balls), the more sugar we feed and train our taste buds, the more difficult it becomes to please our Dopamine centres, aim to keep sugars low in your diet.

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender, place them into choice of moulds or make your own chocolate protein bliss balls and refrigerate for an hour. They last in the refrigerater upto a week.
